Transforming communities and strengthening civil society through collaboration, advocacy, and capacity building across the Greater Nebbi region.
Our Impact
Nebbi District NGO Forum (NDNGOF) continues to play a vital role in strengthening civil society organizations and promoting inclusive development in Nebbi, Zombo, and Pakwach districts.
Through partnerships with development organizations, government institutions, and member organizations, NDNGOF has supported initiatives that improve governance, education, environmental conservation, and community empowerment.
Strengthening Civil Society Organizations
NDNGOF has significantly contributed to building the capacity of civil society organizations to operate effectively and comply with national regulations.
The Forum has supported member organizations through training, compliance support, and institutional strengthening initiatives that enable them to deliver impactful development programs.
This work has helped many organizations improve governance, transparency, and accountability in their operations.
Promoting Citizen Participation and Accountability
NDNGOF has strengthened citizen engagement in governance processes by creating platforms where communities can interact with government leaders and express their development priorities.
Programs implemented by the Forum have amplified the voices of youth, women, and marginalized groups, enabling them to participate in decision-making processes that affect their communities.
Improving Education Outcomes
Through initiatives such as the Alochi Ku Somu (AKS) Education Project, NDNGOF has worked with schools and communities to strengthen school leadership, improve learning environments, and support access to quality education.
These efforts have empowered communities to prioritize education and support better learning opportunities for children.
Environmental Conservation and Sustainable Development
NDNGOF has also promoted sustainable natural resource management through initiatives aimed at addressing deforestation and environmental degradation.
