Impact 2020–2025
Over the past five years, NDNGOF has implemented integrated programs aimed at strengthening education systems, promoting accountable governance, empowering civil society organizations, and supporting sustainable natural resource management across Greater Nebbi and West Nile.
Working in partnership with district local governments, civil society organizations, religious institutions, business communities, and community structures, NDNGOF has supported development interventions across Nebbi, Zombo, and Pakwach districts.
Education System Strengthening
Through teacher professional development and education governance initiatives, NDNGOF has supported the establishment and strengthening of Professional Learning Communities, teacher leadership structures, school management systems, and community participation in education improvement.
These interventions have contributed to improved teacher collaboration, stronger teacher leadership, improved teaching methodologies, increased learner participation, and institutionalization of teacher professional development structures.

Civic Participation and Social Accountability
NDNGOF has strengthened community participation in governance and accountability through citizen engagement groups, community dialogue platforms, civic education sessions, public accountability meetings, and evidence-based advocacy.
These interventions have increased citizen participation in governance processes, improved community voice in local development planning, strengthened public service monitoring, and increased citizen awareness of rights and entitlements.

Environmental Governance and Forest Conservation
NDNGOF has promoted sustainable forest resource management and environmental protection through community forest governance initiatives, environmental awareness, research, advocacy, and dialogue with district authorities.
Through PAFORM and related environmental initiatives, communities have been sensitized, forest reserves assessed, petitions developed, and local leaders engaged to strengthen environmental governance.

Civil Society Strengthening
As a civil society network organization, NDNGOF has continued to strengthen the institutional capacity of its member organizations through training, mentorship, coordination, networking, advocacy support, and institutional development.
This work has contributed to stronger local civil society organizations, increased participation of CSOs in development planning, improved NGO governance and management capacity, and enhanced collaboration between NGOs and local government.
